Two Greek Phrases: Divine & Dynamic 🇬🇷 

The phrase “breathed out by God” (theopneustos) in v16 occurs only here in the New Testament.

It emphasizes that Scripture is directly inspired by God’s Spirit.

The word for “equipped” in v17 for every good work is translated from the Greek word exartizo.

Exartizo refers to a complete preparation and readiness, like an athlete fully trained for competition.

Divine & Dynamic

Together, these phrases underline that Scripture is divinely inspired, and not static but dynamic.

Rather than existing for the purpose of information (knowledge transfer) —

— it exists for our transformation, ongoing spiritual growth, and mission.
