Jesus' response (the verse we’re memorizing this week) communicates a similar message to John 4:34 after his interaction with the Samaritan woman at the well:

One practical step you can take in response to Matthew 4:4 is to imitate Jesus in moments of testing or temptation.

💡 This is particularly empowering anytime you practice fasting.

Do what Jesus did 🤔 

Just like Jesus says in John 4:34, you can remind yourself:

My food is to do the will of my Father in heaven.

THANK YOU! This ministry means the world to me. I know I am just one of so many, but I thrive on theses emails.

The verses. The teaching. You not only allowed a way for me to be able to memorize after so many failed attempts, BUT you have given me a thirst for His Word!

I “thought” I had that.  Nowhere near.  Now when I get the emails I am drawn in to know more.  Not just drilling the verse, but capturing the Word. 

Thank you for your hard work.  Your endless efforts to share HIS Word to the world.  No ministry is easy.

You are placed on the radar for the enemy to say oh heck no and come at you with everything. A way for people to not only memorize, BUT learn. Not just 3 or 5 lines of text, BUT God’s message.

Considering the book, the audience, people, history. All of it not just a collection of words to recite but the heart behind it. God’s desire for us to know HIM.

I know I have shared my battle with traumatic brain injuries, muscular dystrophy and the complications from both.  I would see people memorize and recite and dream.  I would knock it out and a month later not even know the verse location.  

Then I found you all. NO, God led me to you guys. I have been committing to memory most verses (still working on bigger ones), but I am learning them as a whole.

When it gets tough, please know this is changing lives even if you don’t know, or hear. This is a big deal.
