Hey friend! 👋 

This newsletter isn’t about us, but we think it’s helpful for you to know who’s behind this thing. I’ll start.

I’m Kieran Lenahan 👋🏽

Some fun facts..

• 🇺🇸 Born in the USA, New Jersey to be specific. I’m half Irish and half Filipino 🇮🇪 🇵🇭 

• 👰 I’ve been married to my best friend Dana for 8 years!

• 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 I’m a dad to Christopher who is my MAIN man (we adopted him out of foster care - the pic below is from adoption day!), Cali who has my entire heart, Judah (our newest little guy)…& we’re expecting our 4th in April 2025!

• 🏀⛳️ I love sports, having fun and stewarding my body. Basketball, pickleball & CrossFit are my favorites right now.

• 🚀 I’m an entrepreneur and creator at heart. I love launching & building things. In addition to working on Malachi Daily, I run businesses like BetterLetter, the Table Network, and a course Dana built for women who aren’t pregnant yet but know they want to be one day.

Other fun facts..

• 🇵🇪 I lived in Peru for 5 months in 2013 and played for the university basketball team where I was studying.

• 📚 I published a children’s book 2 years ago to raise money for foster children

• 😂 I’m not stand-up-comedian-funny, but I make clever comments in conversations that only one person hears and laughs at. Strongly considering starting a comedy Instagram account to verify this.

My faith..

🙏🏼 I gave my life to Jesus a month before getting married in 2016 and have been pursuing Jesus since.

• 🎤 I’m forever grateful to Tim Keller for sharing the gospel so clearly. His preaching was the first time I was ever presented with the gospel.

• ✝️ I believe everything that every human longs for - to be loved, worthy, safe, secure and significant - is found in Jesus.

• 📕 One of the ways God speaks to us is through Scripture. I’ve become a curious student of God’s Word and desire deeply to help Jesus followers understand and internalize it (hence, this newsletter).

📉 Since starting my walk with Jesus, I’ve been through valleys:

• Grieving the death of one of my closest friends

• The pain of a miscarriage

• Extended periods of seeking God’s guidance & struggling to hear his voice

⛰️ And I’ve experienced mountaintop moments:

• The joy of adopting our son, Christopher and seeing our daughter Cali be born

• The unmistakable ways God has provided financially for our family

• The millions of prayers we have prayed (and not prayed) that God has answered

🎯 Through it all, I’m doing my best to organize my life around 3 goals:

1. Be with Jesus

2. Become like Jesus

3. Do what Jesus did

And my hope is that this newsletter helps you do those 3 things.
