Happy Thursday, {{first_name | everyone}}!
I’ve heard it said that being a person of faith is less like being a calculator and more like being a mirror. We don’t understand everything about God - we never can. But the more we turn toward Him, the more we reflect Him.
In today’s email…

TOGETHER WITH LIMITLESS
Limitless Power
Did you know that in just 10 seconds, enough sunlight reaches the Earth to power everything we do — in every home, factory and farm — for an entire day?
Energy shapes nearly every part of daily life, from monthly bills to the reliability of our homes, churches, and communities.
Limitless offers a clearer perspective. Through practical information, credible facts, and compelling stories, Limitless shows how energy from the sun, wind, and water is already powering everyday life across America and creating more affordable, reliable, and local options.
Clean energy is already here, already working and ready to power more of our lives.

CONTEXT 📕
We started this week by seeing God’s big story written through the lives of the heroes of faith.
Today, we’ll identify more places where our memory verse overlaps with other parts of Scripture. Doing so will help us understand it better and invite us closer to Jesus.
Living out our faith can feel exhausting at times, but this passage holds an important key:
Consider him…
Something changes in us when we consider Jesus, meditate on him, and fix the eyes of our soul (our attention) on him.
He leads. We follow.
One of the heroes of faith, a man after God’s heart named David, understood this well. He wrote:
One thing have I asked of the Lord,
that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord
and to inquire in his temple.
This is part of what Jesus calls us to in John 15 as well, where he invites his followers to ‘abide in’, stay near to, and dwell in Him.
That is how we learn to know the voice of the Good Shepherd who leads us to refreshing springs.
APPLY AND RESPOND 🏃♂
🤔 Reflect
There are moments when faith feels hard.
And that’s exactly when we need to remember who ran this race first. The word ‘Christian’ means ‘little Christ’ or ‘like Christ.’
Our memory verse teaches us how to finish this race well and hear the Father say: ‘Well done, My good and faithful servant’.
We become what we give our attention to.
So we become like Christ by looking at Him.
🏃♂ Act
Choose 1 way that you will “gaze upon Jesus” today:
Go outside, look at nature, and pray.
Listen to worship music, close your eyes, and breathe.
Read Hebrews 12:3, pause, and consider Him.
🙏 Pray
Father, you sent your Son as the perfect example of what it means to live your way. You wrote the climax of your story through his life and you continue to write it now through me. Jesus, you’re beautiful. May I become what I behold as I gaze upon your face and learn from your Word. Amen.
COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT 🔦
We’re doing something new with the community spotlight!
One of the biggest encouragements to me is hearing how God is moving in the lives of other people I know. It reminds me that God is active and moving every single day.
To that end, we would love to hear how God is moving in your life!
Simply fill out this 30-second survey and tell us what you’ve seen God do!
“Moving to one verse (or passage) a week is how I need to meet this world. Thank you!”
— A Malachi Daily reader
“God is moving through our community in a ministry called LifeWise Academy. We have over 200 students enrolled for Bible classes during school hours, off school property, and 100% community funded. God is calling, and people are answering his call!”
— Dottie, KY

ANSWER KEY ✅
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
Hebrews 12:1
Forward this to someone who might be growing weary in the race. Remind them they are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses and running toward Jesus!
