TOGETHER WITH YOUR MOVE COLLECTIVE

The number of adults with no religious affiliation has nearly doubled in a decade—climbing from 42 million in 2009 to 75 million today (Pew Research).

For millions, faith feels irrelevant. Yet, they’re searching online for happiness, meaning, and hope. They’re not expecting to find Jesus in those moments, but that’s exactly where YMC meets them.

At Your Move Collective, they meet people in their search to introduce them to Jesus where they least expect it–online.

Be part of the movement to reach these 75 million people with the hope of Jesus.

CONTEXT 📕

Acts 4:12 makes a bold claim.

There is only one path to salvation: Jesus.

But this isn’t just a statement of belief. It’s a declaration of Jesus’ uniqueness.

Why is there no other name?

Because no one else is like Jesus.

  • Only Jesus is fully God and fully man.

  • Only Jesus lived without sin.

  • Only Jesus bore our guilt on the cross.

  • Only Jesus rose in victory over death.

  • Only Jesus ascended to live at the right hand of God, interceding for us.

Peter’s sermon culminated in proclaiming the only name with the power to save.

He has the cure, not just for the lame to walk, but for all to find hope in a dark world.

Jesus isn’t just “another” great teacher or prophet.

He is the only one who could do what needed to be done to reconcile us to God.

The writer of Hebrews says it this way:

He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.”

Hebrews 1:3

That’s who Jesus is.

He doesn’t just teach about God. He is the radiance of God’s glory.
He didn’t just do good works. He made purification for our sins.
He doesn’t just reign someday. He sits enthroned even now.

No prophet, teacher, or spiritual figure can claim what Jesus has done.

He is utterly unique, and that’s why Jesus’ name alone saves.

Yet there’s more good news…

The beauty of the gospel is that this name is freely given to all who believe.

You, me, and everyone else can experience salvation found in this holy, unique, honorable name.

APPLY AND RESPOND 🏃‍♂️

In a world where 75 million Americans claim no religious affiliation, Acts 4:12 feels counter-cultural.

Some claim the idea that you can only come to God through Jesus is “intolerant” and “exclusive.”

But what if exclusivity isn't narrow-mindedness, but reality?

Just as only one specific key unlocks your front door, Jesus' uniqueness isn't arbitrary — it's by design.

His exclusive claims rest on His exclusive credentials: the only sinless life, the only verified resurrection, the only perfect revelation of God.

The search for meaning isn't random. Those 75 million seekers are looking for what only Jesus provides: not just principles to follow, but a person who can transform.

The claim "no other name" isn't arrogance — it's the most loving truth we can share with a searching world.

So when you come into contact with people who are seeking or considering faith:

  • Lovingly point them to Jesus

  • Encourage them to read the gospels and evaluate Jesus themselves

  • Pray that they would encounter Jesus!
